Good afternoon,
As I sit in another training today, I wanted to give you my thoughts on yesterday's NASPO webinar: The Buyer's Newsroom: Market Info for Public Procurement – Q1.
Per the website, this series is designed in mind for the following reason:
"Public procurement professionals are navigating a rapidly shifting marketplace where pricing volatility, supply chain disruptions, and evolving supplier landscapes are the norm. This quarterly webinar series explores current marketplace trends impacting goods and services, with a focus on practical strategies for conducting effective market research and validating pricing."
I found this a quick, interesting way to gain information. Some of the information I had discussed in relation to an RFP, but others I had not thought of. It was great to get this information in a quick format that wasn't overwhelming, gave you enough detail to have you intriqued, and left me wanting to register for Q2 (which I did). The speakers provided places you can do further research as well as answered questions.
ALL IN THE TIME IT TAKES YOU TO WATCH A 30-MINUTE TV SHOW.
I highly recommend registering and watching these webinars. I've already registered for Q2 and Q3. I've created calendar events on our chapter website for reminders, and I will link them here.
